+**Important**: You must set `NEXTAUTH_SECRET` and `SALT` for production use. Generate them using:

+## Getting Started
+
+1. Create a `.env` file with required secrets:
+
+   ```env
+   NEXTAUTH_SECRET=your-generated-secret-here
+   SALT=your-generated-salt-here
+   POSTGRES_PASSWORD=your-secure-password
+   ```
+
+2. Start the services:
+
+   ```bash
+   docker compose up -d
+   ```
+
+3. Access Langfuse at `http://localhost:3000`
+
+4. Create your first account on the setup page
+

+- Change default passwords in production
+- Use strong, randomly generated values for `NEXTAUTH_SECRET` and `SALT`
